Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the Azure Service Fabric platform, enabling support for various application classes while ensuring application consistency, availability, and partition tolerance.
- Develop a deep understanding of Service Fabric orchestration and workflows, aligned with platform-level capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization to design reliable, scalable, and high-performance software solutions.
- Partner with engineering and program management teams to gather customer, business, and technical requirements, providing feedback to Azure Engineering.
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex live site issues by leveraging expertise in both software and hardware components.
- Rapidly deploy code at cloud scale and monitor telemetry for system performance.
- Design, develop, and operate large-scale, efficient, and reliable cloud services.
- Drive continuous improvement in service quality and cost efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with 1+ years of proven experience in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including specialized security screenings like the Microsoft Cloud Background Check, required upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred skills:
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems and cloud services.
- Familiarity with public cloud services, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
