Key Responsibilities:
- Manage traceability from requirements to verification.
- Communicate effectively and impactfully in a cross-functional, multicultural, global environment.
- Break down problems and estimate time required for verification tasks.
- Demonstrate increasing expertise in the application domain and functional areas.
- Apply various testing types and methodologies effectively during the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision, seeking help when necessary.
- Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, Refactoring, and Testing Techniques.
- Work independently and deliver testing and use case creation that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the selected technology for the project.
- Write effective tests according to best practices to verify crucial functional requirements and ensure tests remain valid when code is refactored.
- Begin to collaborate with the development team in fixing bugs and creating build plans.
- Collaborate with Quality Leaders in creating test plans.
- Implement and configure testing tools, occasionally assisting junior staff.
- Implement system-level integration testing.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
Required Skills:
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials Certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Shell, and SQL script writing.
- Competence in software test automation using Python, C#, or Java.
- Understanding of interacting with various types of infrastructure, including Cloud (AWS, Skytap) and/or VMWare.
