Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze variances in all profit and loss account items and arrive at logical conclusions for these variances.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and external financial accounting requirements, including record-keeping and reporting for auditing functions.
- Support executives and managers with research assignments and compliance-related work.
- Evaluate internal control systems and procedures, prepare audit reports to highlight shortcomings, and provide necessary recommendations.
- Conduct tax audits to ensure proper disclosures and compliance with various tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of audit programs, including gathering information from clients.
- Stay continually updated on developments in audit-related areas and be responsible for updating their teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong analytical and numerical ability.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Graduate and IPCC (both groups cleared or cleared one and awaiting results for the second).
- No prior experience required.
Preferred skills:
- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High flexibility, adaptability, and creativity.
- Comfort interacting with senior executives, both within the firm and at the client.
