Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand project specifications and customer needs, and participate in job site walk-throughs.
- Design systems for standard facilities, which may include mechanical system layouts, electrical drawings, valve and damper schedules, and control panel layouts.
- Interpret and design sequences of operations to identify hardware and logic requirements for systems.
- Assist in analyzing plans, construction contract specifications, and codes to determine project requirements and risks.
- Select appropriate types and sizes of products.
- Follow up with sales and management to ensure job scope, specifications, and schematics meet customer needs.
- Participate in sales-to-operations turnover meetings to evaluate the accuracy of estimates and job layouts.
- Assist in peer reviews for engineering documents.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering required.
- Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Ability to interpret customer requirements, identify needs, and resolve issues positively.
- Ability to adapt to shifting demands and competing priorities from customers and internal partners, consistently managing time effectively and meeting established deadlines.
