Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with stakeholders to translate complex customer requirements into recommendations for suitable solution architectures and advisory services.
- Collaborate with technical leads and partners to lead high-velocity migration and modernization projects on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Design, migrate/build, and operationalize data storage and processing infrastructure using cloud-native products.
- Develop and implement data migration strategies for various database types, including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Alloy DB.
- Establish and maintain data quality and governance procedures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient in coding with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with client-side web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Skilled in technical troubleshooting and managing relationships with internal and external partners or customers.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in architecting and developing software or production-grade Big Data solutions at internet scale in virtualized environments.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Experience with data warehouses, including technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting/analytic tools, in public cloud environments.
- Skilled in data processing algorithms and frameworks, Big Data, information retrieval, data mining, and Machine Learning.
- Experience in migrating databases using various methodologies and leveraging data processing frameworks along with modern analytical and transactional data stores.
- Proficiency in building multi-tier, high-availability applications using modern technologies such as NoSQL databases, MongoDB, and SparkML.
