Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and collaborate with management to expand analytics capabilities in line with the Director’s vision.
- Guide architectural decisions for the business data model to support reporting, analytics, KPIs, and data mining (using SQL stack).
- Provide training to business analysts on ETL methods to enhance performance and efficiency in data delivery.
- Utilize a variety of software tools (such as SQL, Power Query, Excel, Tableau, R, Python, etc.) for timely and efficient delivery of reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and validate third-party sources for inclusion in the architecture to address gaps in business insights.
- Offer technical recommendations for project costing related to reporting infrastructure.
- Develop, maintain, and deploy data sources for operational and strategic dashboards.
- Employ leading-edge business analysis practices to effectively gather report requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert on data integrity and reporting impact, participating in department or company-wide forums.
- Thoughtfully manage internal and external customer requests.
- Demonstrate accountability for deliverables, project progress, as well as successes and failures.
- Appropriately escalate workflow concerns raised by staff.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Have at least one year of pertinent work experience in data architecture, warehousing, business intelligence, analytics, statistics, data engineering, data science, or a related field.
Preferred skills:
- Proficiency in advanced SQL query techniques, encompassing complex joins, sub-queries, grouping, aggregation, and the use of stored procedures.
- Demonstrated strength in quantitative skills, with a solid understanding of statistical concepts.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in Tableau Development, preferably version 10.0 or later.
- Effective project management abilities.
- Excellent written communication skills tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of problem-solving and analytical thinking, with a focus on optimizing data delivery.
