Key Responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven, innovative analytical solutions and identify opportunities to meet business and client needs quantitatively, enabling informed recommendations and decisions.
- Perform various activities, including constructing machine learning models, creating automated data pipelines, designing data architecture/schema, and executing tasks in big data clusters using diverse execution engines and programming languages such as Hive/Impala, Python, Spark, R, etc.
- Lead the advancement of Data & Services products/platform, emphasizing the impact on data science and engineering.
- Contribute to the development of data and analytic infrastructure for product advancement.
- Participate in identifying and evaluating data elements to deliver analytics for product enhancement.
- Continuously innovate, exploring new approaches and technologies to address business challenges and provide insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with various roles across the organization, including consultants, engineering, and sales, to prioritize solving high-priority problems.
- Assess trade-offs among multiple potential analytics solutions, considering usability, technical feasibility, timelines, and stakeholder perspectives to inform decision-making.
- Break down complex solutions into smaller, deployable milestones to gather feedback from stakeholders.
- Promote releases to users, integrating feedback and tracking usage for future development insights.
- Work with small, cross-functional teams to define vision, establish team culture, and refine processes.
- Maintain a consistent focus on key drivers of organizational value, prioritizing operational activities accordingly.
- Identify and act upon opportunities for product improvement.
- Aggregate and analyze client datasets, conducting data manipulation and technical analysis to identify trends and insights using industry techniques and best practices.
- Clean and structure datasets for downstream analytics, escalating technical errors or bugs identified in project work as needed.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Exhibits foundational knowledge in statistical analytical techniques, coding, and data engineering.
- Utilizes open-source tools, predictive analytics, machine learning, advanced statistics, and other data techniques for basic analyses.
- Experience in developing and configuring dashboards is advantageous.
- Demonstrates discernment in escalating issues to the project team.
- Proficient in Python/Spark, Hadoop platforms & tools (Hive, Impala, Airflow, NiFi), and SQL.
- Displays curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm for technology and innovation.
- Demonstrates quantitative and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of multitasking with strong attention to detail.
