Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk and quality review procedures for externally prepared US regulatory reports.
  • Supervise the internal generation of specific US and EMEA regulatory reports and submissions.
  • Collaborate internally to monitor relevant regulatory changes and reporting mandates.
  • Manage and coordinate the annual and supplemental updates to prospectuses and Statements of Additional Information (“SAI”) regulatory forms for all open-end mutual funds, and post documents on the BlackRock website.
  • Ensure timely completion of filings.
  • Review invoices associated with all filings and print/typeset submissions from vendors through the invoice portal.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A college degree is necessary, preferably in accounting, with 1-4 years of experience.
  • The position is suitable for a qualified accountant with audit experience in investment management or financial services audit. Alternatively, experience in financial reporting, regulatory reporting, or filing at a fund administrator is desirable but not obligatory.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current global accounting standards and regulatory requirements applicable to Investment Funds.
  • Exhibit a keen interest in staying updated on industry developments and changes in investment products.

Preferred skills:

  • Apply logic and consider relevant information to make rational and realistic decisions (Analytical Ability).
  • Deliver accurate work and identify errors for appropriate corrections (Attention to Detail).
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively conveying financial analysis results and issues to senior management and auditors (Interpersonal Skills).

  • Efficiently prioritize tasks and manage deadlines. The successful candidate must be highly organized, proactively coordinating timely delivery among all parties and team members (Planning and Prioritization).
