Key Responsibilities:
- Data Integration and ETL: Acquire, comprehend, and uphold ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources into the data warehouse or BI platform, guaranteeing data quality and uniformity.
- Data Querying: Interpret business challenges and compose efficient data queries to extract and generate datasets for reporting or other analytics objectives.
- Report and Dashboard Development: Construct interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools like Tableau, SSRS, to furnish actionable insights to business users.
- Quality Assurance: Execute comprehensive testing and validation of BI solutions to certify the accuracy, completeness, and dependability of data and reports.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Establish and sustain documentation for BI solutions, including technical specifications, data dictionaries, and user guides. Disseminate knowledge and expertise among team members via training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in training, on-the-job learning, and continuous improvement endeavors to enrich skill sets, effectiveness, and efficiency in contributing to BI and analytics solutions.
- Ad Hoc Analysis, Support & Troubleshooting: Deliver extensive support encompassing ad hoc analysis to tackle business inquiries, troubleshoot issues pertaining to data integrity and report accuracy, ensuring seamless operation.
- Hybrid Schedule: Adhere to a hybrid schedule of 3 days remote work and 2 days in the office.
- 30-Day Notification Period Preferred: Preferably provide a 30-day notification period.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent, is required.
- 0-1 years of experience in Business Intelligence development.
- Basic proficiency in SQL is necessary.
- Familiarity with visualization and reporting fundamentals is essential.
- Possess a strong aptitude and basic understanding of statistics.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
Preferred Skills:
- Possession of certifications related to data analytics, statistics, or analytical or BI tools is advantageous.
