Key Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced statistical methods to analyze large, complex data sets to understand the impact of abuse on the YouTube ecosystem.
- Contribute to the strategy and development of new workflows aimed at addressing additional known vectors of abuse.
- Acquire proficiency in complex technical concepts and systems, and deliver meaningful results utilizing them. Effectively communicate highly technical results and methodologies.
- Uphold, foster, and advocate for quality by providing regular feedback metrics to the Global team. Oversee technological solutions for streamlining quality assurance processes and develop scalable training solutions for emerging workflows.
- Conduct fraud and spam investigations using diverse data sources, identify product vulnerabilities, and execute anti-abuse experiments to mitigate abuse. Collaborate with engineers and engage cross-functionally with stakeholders to enhance workflows through process enhancements, automation, and the creation of anti-abuse systems.
- Develop high-quality training materials, facilitate consensus, and maintain communication with business stakeholders for YouTube Scaled Abuse initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data management, metrics analysis, experiment design, and automation.
- Familiarity with classification systems, ranking systems, or similar methodologies is desired.
Preferred skills:
- Demonstrated experience in translating analytical insights into actionable business strategies.
- Experience in fostering innovation, conceptualization, and completion of projects while collaborating with global teams.
- Proficiency in collecting, managing, and synthesizing large datasets and information from various sources, including statistical modeling, data mining, and data analysis.
