Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key member within one of the JAVA Integration/API scrum teams.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical and functional designs for Java and API-based projects with a React-based front end.
- Develop and maintain application code, including associated automated test suites.
- Perform unit and integration testing of code and offer assistance during testing cycles to ensure timely resolution of defects. Ensure all project deliverables adhere to governance practices and QA procedures.
- Contribute to central JAVA and API forums, sharing best practices and insights.
- Provide support and mentorship to junior colleagues.
- Participate in all aspects of an iterative Agile development lifecycle.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with application support teams to facilitate the efficient delivery of projects into the production environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficient in Java 11+, React 17+, Linux, databases, REST, MQ, Kafka, JUnit, and Spring Boot 2.x.
- Thorough understanding and successful implementation of Core Java Concepts.
- Skilled in UI development.
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop enterprise-level software solutions using tools and techniques such as Source Control, Build Tools (e.g., Maven), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Well-versed in DevOps and CI/CD Jenkins Pipeline methodologies.
- Self-driven, proactive, and demonstrates initiative with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with SonarQube and Veracode standards.
- Proficiency in cloud development, especially with AWS.
- Understanding of cybersecurity and cryptography principles.
- Hands-on experience with deployment tools, particularly Chef.
- Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
