Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality and suitability of the organization’s data assets, collaborating with Tech teams to store metadata for these assets.
- Review the integrity of data, both referential and historical.
- Measure and report progress to management regarding data quality improvement efforts.
- Monitor compliance of information flows and data stores with data quality standards.
- Identify areas for data quality enhancement and assist in resolving data quality issues using appropriate strategies.
- Develop new rules/processes for data profiling and analysis against quality metrics.
- Engage in data mining, cleansing, updating, reconciliation, and maintenance activities following agreed SOPs.
- Coordinate with Global Middle Office (GMO) or Moody’s Information Technology (MIT) personnel to make necessary corrections and updates for data accuracy.
- Actively participate as a team member, providing support and fostering teamwork.
- Receive cross-training to perform other related tasks within the business unit.
- Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to enhance existing processes.
- Participate in Agile scrum teams, contributing to project planning and prioritization of work.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Master’s degree, MBA in Finance, or equivalent qualification.
Preferred skills:
- Demonstrates excellent understanding of Fixed Income Securities (Bonds, debts) and Reference data (ISIN, CUSIP, CIK’s, and LEI’s).
- Essential mid-level proficiency in Python.
- Preferred familiarity with SQL, MS Access, Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept project and time management abilities, capable of working effectively in teams, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-motivated individual capable of managing tasks independently, with a proactive and client-focused approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Extensive experience in Agile environments, with exposure to design thinking methodologies.
