Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of cyber defense strategies aimed at protecting organizational assets from cyber threats.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to detect potential security incidents or vulnerabilities.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to evaluate the efficiency of current security measures.
- Aid in incident response efforts, such as investigating security incidents and applying corrective actions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and regulatory standards.
- Document processes, procedures, and observations to facilitate knowledge sharing and drive ongoing improvement initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrated comprehension of cybersecurity principles and established best practices.
- Proficiency in network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
Preferred skills:
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and frameworks such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, encompassing both verbal and written forms, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Prior involvement in cyber defense roles or internships is desirable.
