Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain payroll records by accurately collecting, calculating, and inputting data, including intricate calculations related to departmental specializations, car allowances, wage garnishments, retroactive payments, and overtime.
• Update payroll records promptly by recording changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job titles, and department/division transfers.
• Ensure the timely and precise completion of all payroll operations by managing workflow effectively.
• Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
• Generate year-to-date (YTD) documents necessary for reconciliation and audit purposes.
• Manage and maintain the Management Information System (MIS) for payroll.
• Monitor tickets and emails, ensuring responses are provided within designated Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Assist in documenting audit requirements for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations and other internal control activities.
• Offer backup support for team members during absences and as necessary to manage workloads and meet service level deadlines.
• Contribute to special projects, ad-hoc assignments, and initiatives directed by management.
• Maintain the confidentiality of operational, professional, and personal information, respecting privacy protocols at all times.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Possess a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in accounting & finance.
• Demonstrate experience in payroll processing within a large multinational company setting in Europe.
• Have hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Peoplesoft, Fusion, as well as ADP developed software including workforce, HCM, and Payforce.
• Exhibit a working knowledge of relevant government regulations, coupled with advanced proficiency in the MS Office package, particularly Excel.
• Showcase experience with business processes and best practices concerning payroll.
• Possess strong project management abilities, along with meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective time management.

Preferred skills:

• Demonstrate practical experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Peoplesoft, Fusion, and ADP developed software including workforce, HCM, and Payforce.
• Exhibit the capability to collaborate and engage with other departments and vendors to ensure accurate payroll processing.
• Possess the initiative to take the lead in researching and resolving issues as they arise.
• Show proficiency in taking ownership of special projects and delivering successful outcomes.
• Display operational accounting skills and expertise in Excel.
