Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the business code, consistently demonstrating integrity and due diligence.
  • Identify and mitigate payment fraud by identifying suspicious transactions and reporting any questionable employee conduct.
  • Differentiate between high-risk and legitimate transactions to minimize the need for additional checks and associated workload.
  • Identify and address employee involvement in fraudulent activities to prevent significant retail losses.
  • Ensure adherence to product integrity standards throughout transactions.
  • Possess strong multitasking abilities and effective communication skills, both within the team and when liaising with North American leadership or law enforcement agencies.
  • Analyze data to identify patterns and make recommendations, presenting findings to senior leaders in regular meetings.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, demonstrating excellent email writing skills.
  • Produce detailed investigation reports with clear findings for leadership review.
  • Understand technical issues related to surveillance cameras and promptly report them to leaders.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within the team to investigate cases promptly.
  • Collaborate with key individuals and teams within the business, including store and retail staff, North American Leadership (VPs, Corporate Investigators), the Retail Security team, and other business support teams, as well as internal support teams like IT and Helpdesk, and external entities like law enforcement agencies and emergency services (PD, Fire rescue).

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred skills:

  • Proficiency in forensic investigation, loss prevention, retail theft prevention, or asset protection.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with advanced knowledge of Excel including familiarity with advanced formulas.
  • Ability to handle diverse tasks and multitask effectively in a high-paced environment.
  • Possesses analytical and decision-making skills necessary for identifying genuine cases.
