Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and oversee the configuration of all Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Groovy and YAML.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, coordinating and implementing DevOps infrastructure initiatives.
- Utilize DevOps tools within an AWS cloud environment, including AWS services, Docker, GitHub/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and SonarQube.
- Contribute to the enhancement of continuous integration and deployment infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud (AWS).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deploy scalable services as needed.
- Ensure the enforcement of quality and security measures for all applications integrated into our environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Change Management process.
- Evaluate and ensure the quality and efficiency of project delivery by utilizing key performance indicators.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and vendor products, assessing their suitability for the organization’s needs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficiency in UNIX (preferably RHEL), AWS, and Windows operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with at least one Version Control System (VCS) tool such as Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Working knowledge and debugging experience with CI/CD infrastructure tools like Jenkins, Nexus, or Sonar.
- Familiarity with Public Cloud environments, particularly AWS, and hands-on experience in creating and managing services using CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization platforms such as Docker or Kaniko, Dockerfile, and working knowledge of Kubernetes or Amazon EKS.
- Understanding of automation tools like Ansible playbooks and Terraform, with hands-on experience in at least one scripting language such as Python, Groovy, or YAML.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, utilizing JIRA and Scrum boards for project management, and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies to support business needs.
- Required experience of 1-3 years in relevant fields.
Preferred skills:
- Understanding and proficiency in development and programming using Java, Angular, or Node.js technologies.
