Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirements gathering and project scoping sessions with subject matter experts, business users, and executive stakeholders to identify and articulate business data needs.
- Design, develop, and optimize data architecture and ETL (extract, transform, load) pipelines to ensure accessibility for Business Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business users.
- Collaborate with analysts to expand value-generating capabilities, such as data integrations, transformations, model features, and statistical and machine learning models.
- Champion standards for data reliability, integrity, and governance to foster accurate, consistent, and reliable data sets, business intelligence products, and analyses.
- Interact with the analyst community, solicit feedback to pinpoint critical user journeys and data sourcing inefficiencies, promote best practices, and conduct analyst training sessions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or possesses equivalent practical experience.
- Accumulates at least 1 year of experience in roles related to data engineering or business intelligence.
- Demonstrates proficiency in relational databases, including conducting SQL queries, defining databases, and designing schemas.
- Exhibits experience with at least one programming language like Python, Java, C++, etc.
Preferred skills:
- Possesses a Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Demonstrates experience with data warehouses, distributed data platforms, and data lakes.
- Capable of navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Displays excellent business and technical communication skills, along with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrates structured thinking skills, enabling the breakdown of multi-dimensional problems effectively.
