Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy foundational components for the Uber Third Party interface.
- Continuously enhance the platform to detect and address bottlenecks in both runtime and development phases, aiming for optimization.
- Engage in collaboration with various product and engineering teams, as well as external partners, to seamlessly integrate their offerings into our platform.
- Partner with Product, UX, and Design teams to create high-caliber APIs.
- Produce high-quality code and documentation that can serve as a standard within the company.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficiency in a high-level programming language such as GoLang, Java, or C++.
- Comprehensive understanding of fundamental computer science principles.
- Demonstrated experience in constructing large-scale distributed systems capable of managing substantial loads.
- Proficiency in analyzing production features using analytics and metrics.
- Track record of effectively collaborating on projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in crafting API specifications and executing them.
- Track record of contributing to the development of platforms utilized by fellow engineers.
- Experience in developing consumer-facing products from inception to completion.
