Key Responsibilities:
- Develop highly scalable test frameworks, systems, and infrastructure capable of handling thousands of tests daily.
- Enhance test automation outcomes to ensure they are exceptionally reliable and trustworthy, enabling seamless hands-free releases.
- Contribute individually to deliver innovative solutions for complex test automation challenges.
- Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and Development teams to execute and deliver high-quality experiences across Mobile, Web, and Living Room devices. These experiences aim to be highly performant, personalized, engaging, and relevant to a potential user base of over 300 million.
- Engage with stakeholders across functions to align the Quality team with overall business objectives.
- Provide guidance to peers in developing Quality Engineering roadmaps and test systems to enhance product quality. Identify, plan, and execute projects supporting Quality objectives.
- Participate as a member of the CEX Org QE team, collaborating with the CEX Discovery team consisting of over 50 engineers across Home and Details UX, Personalization, and Search. This collaboration aims to enable customers across multiple countries to discover content from thousands of available titles in various genres and languages.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficiency in automation for Frontend client applications, encompassing Mobile, TVs, Set-Top Boxes, or Living Room devices.
- Sound understanding of REST APIs, including request-response structures, error handling, and status codes.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and database scripting.
- Extensive experience in developing backend tools or frameworks for testing Rest APIs, microservices, data migration, failover scenarios, blue-green, or canary deployment procedures.
- In-depth understanding of CI/CD principles and Shift Left principles.
Preferred skills:
- Capability to construct distributed systems for performance and scale testing.
- Familiarity with working or testing within a distributed heterogeneous microservices architecture.
- Proficient with various caches such as Aeropsike, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Hadoop, Cassandra, Kafka.
- Experience with Amazon AWS or equivalent cloud providers.
- Familiarity with industry best practices in software development processes including unit testing, object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and code reviews.
- Hands-on experience with Linux commands and shell scripting.
- Proficient in building and publishing Proof of Concepts (POCs).
