Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, identify, and prioritize issues of different complexities for resolution.
- Aid in system builds, configurations, application of patches, and upgrades.
- Devise innovative and pragmatic solutions to address non-standard issues.
- Create tools for automating deployment, administration tasks, and monitoring activities.
- Utilize practical knowledge of system methodologies, designs, and troubleshooting techniques.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency with Linux and comprehension of Operating System principles.
- Familiarity with container-based solutions like Docker.
- Understanding of cloud best practices and services.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python or JavaScript.
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical audiences and engineers whose expertise lies outside of SRE and Infrastructure domains.
Preferred skills:
- Proficiency in at least one system language, such as C, C++, Go, or Rust.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, HTTP, application security, monitoring protocols, and storage solutions.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based orchestration is advantageous.
