Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing test plans for performance test cases.
- Establishing and configuring test environments.
- Thoroughly documenting test outcomes for both test and competitor devices.
- Conceptualizing and executing development tests based on user feedback and reproducible issues.
- Assessing and analyzing performance test results, as well as scrutinizing bug reports and logs.
- Identifying bugs, initiating bug reports, and monitoring the bug lifecycle through JIRA.
- Offering insights on product usability and serviceability.
- Formulating and executing further development and optimization strategies in automation case development.
- Collaborating closely with beta and external users to gather feedback on Android performance modules and taking appropriate actions.
- Providing technical support as necessary in Android technology.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with testing concepts, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Bug life cycle.
- Essential understanding of Android functionality, mobile operations, and fundamental principles of hardware modules.
- Desirable to have a basic grasp of Android Debug Bridge (ADB) commands.
- Basic knowledge of bug life cycle management and proficiency in defect tracking systems like Jira and TestRail.
- Proficiency in Android Python, ADB commands, and familiarity with Ubuntu is an advantageous asset.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies are essential attributes.
