Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, adhering to guidelines outlined in the J&J Credo.
Maintain Operational Excellence standards.
Implement accounting and daily operational tasks for the Procurement Accounting process area.
Execute timely financial period closures as per the closing calendar and in line with SLA commitments, while fully complying with Compliance, Internal Audit, and SOX requirements.
Assume accountability for the completeness, accuracy, and validity of reported actuals within the process/entity scope.
Demonstrate deep expertise and full knowledge of Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements within respective areas.
Prioritize regular Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize outstanding items.
Provide on-the-job training to new team members/BPO partners.
Assist auditors and legal authorities in executing necessary activities.
Uphold and enforce worldwide policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and propose solutions.
Ensure robust internal controls are established to attain “adequate” internal and external audit ratings.

Eligibility Criteria:

Possession of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related business field.
Preferred certifications include CPA, CMA, MBA, or other financial credentials.
0-2 years of professional experience is necessary.
Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with employees across all levels.
Openness to new ideas, rapid changes, and the adoption of new technologies.
Strong analytical abilities.

Preferred skills:

Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
Familiarity with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Invoice Processing, Payments, and GRIR reconciliation within a large multi-state company.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, exhibiting strong organizational skills, and efficiently meeting tight deadlines.
Proficiency in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Competence in digital/intelligent automation capabilities.
