Key Responsibilities:
- Develop domain-specific training materials and Knowledge base for Altair products as needed. This includes updating existing training materials such as training videos and tutorials to facilitate learning and usage of the tools by other students.
- Create real-world data analytics use cases, examples, and training materials.
- Provide support to student teams participating in various competitions, especially the First Robotics Competition (FRC), by assisting them in utilizing data analytics for their success in the competition.
- Offer consultation and support to students and academic users of Altair Data Science Software, with a primary focus on Altair Rapidminer globally. This involves conducting workshops, webinars, and training sessions for student teams and academic users.
- Assist in administering student access to Altair software and resources, as well as aid in their account management.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or higher degree focused on Data Science, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or related fields.
Preferred skills:
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities are essential, with a demonstrated highest proficiency in English.
- Capability to explain Data Science, AI, and associated mathematical concepts to beginners effectively.
- Proficiency in at least one technical tool for data manipulation and familiarity with various tools for Data Mining and Statistical Analysis workflows.
- Proficient in Python or R, including the ability to comprehend, write, and collaborate using these languages.
- Familiarity with real-world applications of Data Analytics (DA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML).
- Capacity and willingness to collaborate with technical users and management at all levels globally.
- Excellent presentation skills, problem-solving aptitude, high energy, driven to succeed, and strong interpersonal abilities.
