Key Responsibilities:
- Research and stay updated on emerging privacy laws, regulations, and best practices, analyzing their implications for our organization.
- Aid the privacy team in crafting, implementing, and upholding privacy policies and protocols.
- Assist in documenting frameworks, conducting privacy assessments, data mapping, audits, etc.
- Contribute to the development of privacy training materials.
- Evaluate privacy risks linked with business operations and data processing, offering recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Conduct Data Privacy Impact Assessments in coordination with the privacy team.
- Review privacy clauses within third-party contracts.
- Collaborate with diverse cross-functional stakeholders on matters pertaining to privacy and extend general support to the privacy team.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possessing or pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Privacy, Information Security, or a related discipline.
Preferred skills:
- Demonstrating a solid grasp of the principles within the privacy domain.
- Knowledgeable about various privacy statutes such as the Information Technology Act, Digital Personal Data Protection Act, GDPR, CCPA, RBI, SEBI, and IRDAI Regulations.
- Previous internship exposure in FinTech or the Privacy sector is advantageous.
- Experience in research or project work related to pertinent privacy topics.
- Proficiency in research, analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in using the Microsoft suite of applications.
