Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and document enterprise-level networks and devices in alignment with business requirements. Network devices encompass a range including, but not limited to: CISCO 9XXX Motivation, 38XX Switches, CISCO NEXUS, CISCO 65XX, CISCO 45XX, ASA55XX, CISCO VPN Appliances, F5 LTM/GTM, and Palo Alto NGFW.
- Manage and maintain networks utilizing various routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and Enterprise level BGP.
- Possess demonstrable knowledge across all layers of the Open Systems Interconnect Layers (OSI).
- Lead and implement policies within Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine).
- Oversee, lead, and deploy fabric-enabled networks with Cisco DNAC (Digital Network Architecture Center).
- Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, effectively articulating customer requirements and proposing solutions.
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI Fabric-based Datacentre Networks.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain F5 Big IP infrastructure.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a B.E/ B.Tech/ MCA degree
Preferred skills:
- Utilize Fluke network analyzers and various network analysis tools to troubleshoot network issues.
- Design, implement, and manage disaster recovery and backup procedures for network infrastructure. Implement network security policies and optimize network performance.
- Ensure network specifications and equipment configurations align with business requirements and conform to DT network team SOP.
- Offer after-hours network support as needed.
- Engineer solutions for intricate networking challenges by conducting detailed analysis.
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster collaboration between project teams and clients.
- Maintain and update documentation on processes and procedures in accordance with DT Network team SOP.
- Train and mentor technical staff and colleagues.
- Establish network policies, procedures, and standards. Develop alternative solutions to problems within established guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with Systems and Network Engineers and Network Operations Staff to ensure timely fulfillment of network connectivity requirements.
- Participate in planning meetings and collaborate closely with application development teams.
- Develop, implement, and update network backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Perform additional assigned duties.
- Plan, implement, maintain, and coordinate upgrades, updates, and fixes for core network operating systems and related components, ensuring overall system/network availability and reliability.
- Monitor daily system performance and implement corrective measures.
- Be available for on-call rotation.
