Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with a mentor for day-to-day tasks.
- Successfully address assigned tasks with a focus on quality.
- Write unit tests to ensure robust software functionality.
- Enhance software engineering knowledge through ongoing learning and development.
- Understand and address comments provided in pull requests (PRs).
- Review and learn from others’ PRs, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with a team in an agile, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery software development process.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
- Demonstrate problem-solving abilities, seeking help or direction from seniors when needed.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, effectively explaining problems and posing pertinent questions.
- Have knowledge in Computer Science, algorithms, and data structures.
- Familiarity with Graphics Design, Computer Graphics, and transformations.
- Quickly adapt to and learn new technologies.
- Proficient in one of the tech stacks, such as .NET, C++, or TypeScript/Node.js.
- Understanding of unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Possess basic debugging skills.
- Familiarity with basic database concepts, including SQL and NoSQL.
- Have a basic understanding of cloud platforms.
Preferred skills:
- Proficient in Mathematics, with a focus on Geometry.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology, particularly Scrum.
- Knowledgeable in web development frameworks, such as React.
- Experience with DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Design Patterns, as well as adherence to SOLID and DRY principles.
- Proficient in Git, specifically Distributed Version Control System (DCVS).
