Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise in Java programming, object-oriented design, and a strong commitment to producing clean and efficient code to improve system functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Scrum Master, Product Owner, and users to execute the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for a Capital Market Client.
- Contribute to the design and documentation of software architecture, aligning with the existing architecture and incorporating inputs received from the client as needed.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required.
- Engage with the client in activities such as requirement gathering, providing status updates on work progress, participating in UAT, and serving as a key partner in the overall project engagement.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B Tech) or Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in software development and enhancement.
- Proficiency in Java with hands-on experience.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Logical analysis, coupled with strong problem-solving skills and design concepts.
- Knowledgeable in the Spring framework.
- Proficient in SQL.
- Highly desirable proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and rapid learning ability.
- Experience with enterprise Java technologies, including Java-8, Spring, JUnit, and Hibernate.
- Familiarity with transaction-safe database processing, preferably Sybase or DB2.
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and coordination skills.
- Exceptionally driven, capable of autonomously recognizing and resolving issues, and adept at delivering solutions.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Technical professionalism, with proven abilities in Java development and implementation.
- Excellent customer-facing skills, including conducting compelling technical briefings and demonstrations.
- Technical aptitude to implement new technologies and articulate solutions to the customer.
