Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a business-oriented mindset by understanding business objectives and the context of associated market research.
- Quickly grasp and apply market research knowledge to interpret and discuss survey design elements, including sampling, quotas, methodology, and questionnaire structure.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player, engaging with survey programmers, third-party vendors, and partners for the implementation of online surveys and data collection.
- Possess a keen eye for detail, conducting quality reviews of online surveys, and demonstrating data handling and management capabilities to validate and clean data before further processing.
- Apply a sound understanding of statistics, including the application of theoretical concepts such as univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods. Quickly adapt to and utilize specialized survey data analysis tools like SPSS, Sawtooth, etc., to deliver practical data analytics outcomes.
- Exhibit strong data interpretation capabilities and utilize tools such as Alteryx and advanced Excel for survey data transformation, processing, and the creation of formula/macro-driven models and simulators.
- Demonstrate a knack for graphical representation of analytical outputs. Learn and employ visualization tools, including PowerPoint, Tableau, and Market Sight, to present analytics output in an appealing and insightful manner.
- Work effectively with virtual, multicultural global teams, necessitating cross-time zone engagement.
- Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adept at handling ambiguity and unstructured situations.
- Efficiently manage multitasking responsibilities, including networking, relationship building, and informal business development.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a proven track record of high academic achievement in analytics, data science, or mathematics, coupled with relevant work experience in market/consumer research data analytics (projects/coursework/internships).
- Candidates with educational backgrounds in Statistics/Applied Statistics, Operational Research, Economics, or Mathematics will be given preference.
Preferred skills:
- Possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in the field of market research and data analytics.
- Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in data management, processing, and analysis.
- Have hands-on experience with Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with additional tools such as SPSS, R, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, Market Sight, VBA, and SQL is considered an added advantage.
- Possess a robust knowledge of and affinity for database and analytical tool management.
- Exhibit a strong ability to collaborate with multiple geographically distributed teams in a fast-paced environment. Capable of multitasking, operating effectively in a matrix organization, and managing priorities and expectations.
- Able to independently engage with senior stakeholders, prioritize work, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and credibility as a collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and service excellence orientation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
