Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze business requirements by reviewing documents (functional specifications, technical specification documents, etc.) received from clients or onsite teams.
- Actively participate in knowledge transfer (KT) calls to comprehend the project requirements.
- Conduct reverse KT sessions with clients or onsite teams, sharing detailed documents outlining requirements or application/domain knowledge to ensure mutual understanding.
- Prepare and maintain a query log (tracker) to monitor and track queries.
- Follow up to ensure the resolution of queries documented in the query log.
- Organize knowledge transfer sessions for new team members.
- Conduct training sessions on tools (e.g., ETL tools) as applicable.
- Seek signoff from the client team.
- Participate in requirement walkthrough sessions conducted by Senior Test Analysts, identifying gaps in requirements.
- Seek clarification on requirements and update the clarification tracker accordingly.
- Identify preliminary test data requirements.
- Provide inputs to the test lead or senior test analyst on the scope of testing, analyst effort estimates, requirement analysis, clarification, test approach, etc.

Preferred skills:
- Conduct smoke testing to ensure the system’s readiness for testing.
- Execute automation test scripts and manual test cases.
- Record and maintain testing evidence, tracking the execution status of assigned test cases.
- Share findings and updates with the Senior Test Analyst.
- Identify defects, log failures, and track defects to closure.
- Participate in defect triages to gather evidence for defect identification and prioritization.
- Retest defects and update their status.
- Conduct acceptance testing if necessary.
- Track defect metrics to assess testing effectiveness using QC tools.
- Monitor the number of test cases executed in the daily tracker to ensure productivity.
- Provide deployment and post-production support if required.
- Identify the test suite for execution when necessary.
- Offer inputs to the Senior Test Analyst for the test summary report.
