Key Responsibilities:
- Development Teams: Our development teams are responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining applications utilized by the Firm’s business units. Daily activities involve meeting with clients to gather and analyze requirements, making system design decisions, assessing, integrating, and developing necessary software, and testing and deploying applications to production. Developers within our technical organizations engage in diverse projects, including building high-performing, low-latency electronic trading systems across multiple asset classes, delivering advanced risk management analytics and systems, and evolving complex workflows and life-cycle management capabilities for increasingly sophisticated products.
- Infrastructure Teams: Our infrastructure-focused teams are at the forefront of developing cutting-edge systems to support our business operations. Engineers in this domain provide tools, applications, and platforms for the Firm’s networks, computing hardware, operating systems, and databases that are crucial for trading applications, mobile applications, and other end-user applications. Working in small, agile teams, this group delivers applications spanning the entirety of the Firm’s clients efficiently. Projects for infrastructure engineers in our organizations encompass engineering the Firm’s websites, managing the Windows plant, and developing a client reporting delivery system, among other initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, expected to graduate soon.
Preferred skills:
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or other related technical fields.
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, with database knowledge.
- Possesses knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Unix.
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills, experience in object-oriented development, a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity theory, along with robust database and scripting skills.
- Exhibits exceptional problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English.
