Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehend the application under test, develop test cases, and execute testing plans.
- Perform exploratory testing and provide detailed analysis of the outcomes.
- Identify test cases suitable for automation and implement the automation process.
- Discover defects, log them, and maintain a systematic tracking system.
Eligibility Criteria:
- In-depth knowledge of software testing, encompassing key concepts and processes such as the bug life cycle, various testing levels, methods, types, and test estimation techniques.
- Experience in test automation.
- Proficiency in working within an agile environment.
- Possession of critical thinking and analytical skills to assess bug reports, prioritize tests, determine essential information for daily status reports, and estimate task execution.
Preferred skills:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with project team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Close collaboration with the development team, involving tasks from reproducing reported issues and highlighting critical bug fixes to understanding the resolution of bugs.
- Additional programming skills, including coding, basic SQL knowledge for data extraction in testing, familiarity with XML, general web development skills, and understanding of web services, are considered advantageous.
