Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritizing customer needs over work tasks, ensuring co-workers are readily available and prepared to assist.
  • Fostering co-worker empowerment through knowledge, confidence, trust, authority, and motivation, enabling them to provide optimal customer support.
  • Maintaining constant availability to address customer concerns positively and promptly, offering support when co-workers encounter unresolved issues.
  • Recognizing the significance of accurate stock inventory and coaching team members to maintain this awareness in their daily responsibilities.
  • Collaborating with my manager and team to identify the root causes of recurring issues, implementing improved operational processes, and conducting follow-ups to ensure the resolution of such problems for future customers. When necessary, cooperating with colleagues in other departments to implement changes that enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the IKEA Concept and sharing this knowledge with my team, ensuring they have access to the appropriate Inter IKEA Systems manuals and educational resources to enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Contributing to the development of my department’s action plan and taking responsibility for delivering my part in its execution.

  • Proficiency in reading and comprehending written English.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Self-sufficiency and motivation, along with a track record of effective collaboration within larger teams.
  • Skill in prioritizing and organizing tasks for optimal time management.
  • Competence in planning staffing requirements in alignment with customer traffic.
