Key Responsibilities for Software Engineer/ Test Engineer:
- Write code for system or product development.
- Lead or take part in design reviews with stakeholders and peers to select the best technology.
- In order to ensure best practices (such as following style rules, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency), review the code written by other developers and offer input.
- Contribute to already-existing documentation or educational materials, and modify them in response to user input and changes to products or programmes.
- By examining the causes of problems and their effects on hardware, networks, or service operations and quality, you may prioritise product or system problems and debug/track/resolve them.
Key Responsibilities for Test Engineer:
- Develop test strategies and automated test scenarios in close collaboration with developers, technical programme managers, and technical leads to support our platform’s end-to-end testing effort.
- Create frameworks and automation for testing the Google Distributed Cloud Hosted (GDCH) infrastructure, gathering data, and prioritising concerns.
- To expedite end-to-end platform testing, collaborate with partner teams to assess testing needs, develop test plans, and execute test cases utilising Google frameworks.
- To deliver a system of the highest calibre, work with other engineers.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
Preferred skills:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
