Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of client engagement – Ensure quality delivery in accordance with client specifications.
- Working papers and client folders are reviewed. Provide suggestions for increasing engagement productivity and identifying opportunities to improve client service.
- Recognize business and industry issues/trends. Identify areas of the client’s business processes that need to be improved in order to prepare recommendations.
- Managing data analytics – Access, ACL, and so on.
- Ensure that engagement plans and internal quality and risk management procedures are followed.
- Knowledge of the IIA and ICAI internal auditing standards.
- Demonstrate a problem-solving technique application and solution-based approach.
- Manage engagement budgets and assist superiors in the creation of marketing collateral, business proposals, and new solution/methodology development.
- Establish effective working relationships with clients (process owners/functional heads).
- Detail-oriented work and mentoring of young interns and analysts within the practise.
- Participate in knowledge management sessions in the practise.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Charte
- red Accountant/Certified Internal Auditor or a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
- 0-3 years of post-qualification experience in risk advisory, related internal audit, or external audit.
- We expect you to be available to travel outside of your assigned office location at least 50% of the time, as well as commute within the region (where public transportation often is not available). When necessary, successful candidates must work more than standard hours.
- A current passport is required.
- Ascertain the high quality of the work delivered.
- Anticipate and identify engagement-related risks, and escalate problems as needed.
- Establish client (process owner/functional heads) and internal relationships actively.
- Assist and share knowledge with team members, Seniors, and Managers in the development of new methodologies and internal initiatives, as well as participate in the execution of procedures, with a particular emphasis on complex, judgmental, and/or specialised issues.
- Work with the team and the client to develop plans for achieving engagement objectives and a strategy that adheres to professional standards, as well as advise clients on how to understand and manage their business risks and verify the accuracy of their business data.
- Inform the engagement team about the client’s internal audit environment and industry internal audit trends. Maintain relationships with client management to manage service expectations, such as work products, timelines, and deliverables. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of compliance, financial, and operational risks, as well as perform internal control testing, develop internal audit plans, and provide outsourced internal audit services. Examine internal controls and the SOX framework to reduce risk and apply it to client situations.
- Bring and use in-depth knowledge of the client’s business/industry to identify technological developments and assess their impact on the client’s business. Exhibit excellent project management skills, instil teamwork and accountability in engagement team members, and use current technology/tools to improve the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
