Key Responsibilities:
- Through the review of system generated Alerts, you will be responsible for complying with the BSA requirements to prevent, detect, and deter money laundering and terrorist financing.
- KYC Review, Alerted Transaction Review, Due Diligence Research, Prior SAR/CTR Filing Review, and a decision to close with no risk or escalate to a case investigation accompanied by a thorough analysis narrative are among the responsibilities.
- Determine a comprehensive set of compliance data targets for users across teams.
- Monitor and assess compliance data and information gathered in support of activities and initiatives.
- Aid in the harmonisation of KPIs/KRIs currently used across businesses/regions in order to create a single set of metrics.
- You will be responsible for complying with the BSA requirements to prevent, detect, and deter money laundering and terrorist financing through the review of system generated Alerts.
- The responsibilities include KYC Review, Alerted Transaction Review, Due Diligence Research, Prior SAR/CTR filing review, and a decision to close with no risk or escalate to a case investigation accompanied by a thorough analysis narrative.
- Identify comprehensive target set of compliance data for users across teams.
- Monitor and evaluate compliance data and information collected in support of activities and initiatives.
- Support the harmonization of KPIs/KRIs currently used across businesses/regions to build one set of metrics.
- To create a monthly reporting package, combine data from businesses and testing teams.
- Examine reports for trends and key risk areas.
- Presentation preparation and trend identification for reporting to senior management.
- Identifying new metrics for inclusion in reporting packages.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in anti-money laundering, KYC, CIP, enhanced due diligence, customer due diligence, and internal/external due diligence.
- Onboarding of new clients, new account documentation, business formation documentation, legal entity structures, and the ability to track cash flows are all examples of responsibilities.
- Keep up to date on money laundering and terrorist financing issues, such as policies, procedures, regulations, industry standard methodology, criminal typologies, and emerging trends.
- Proven analytical skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organisational skills, are required to organise and analyse multiple, complex data sets.
- Worked with advanced data sets, pivot tables, advanced database and statistical functions and methods.
- It is beneficial to have a working knowledge of marketplace AML issues and AML suspicious activity transaction monitoring systems, data mining/analytical tools, and KYC automated solutions.
Preferred skills:
- CDD, Risk Assessment, and Screening.
- Experience analysing financial transactional data.
- Lean/Six Sigma certified or trained.
- A diploma in Anti-Money Laundering or a related field will be an added benefit.
- Certification from a professional organisation such as the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (CAMS) would be a significant advantage.
- Data analysis requires the ability to apply expertise and technology.
- Ambitious individual who can work independently to achieve agreed-upon targets/goals.
- Prove your ability to manage change and be open to it. good time management and ability to work under pressure.
- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by achieving necessary results.
