Key Responsibilities:
- Generate accurate mapping documents following established mapping procedures.
- Expedite the delivery of initial solution drafts for ETL/Reporting/Conversion coding by discerning which mapping details can be deferred.
- Assist in the creation and response to Data Set Design (DSD).
- Present analysis and design recommendations to lead MITA teams, clients, and/or vendors to gain approval for the proposed design.
- Provide support to ETL/Reporting/Conversion developers based on developed mappings.
- Collaborate closely with the configuration team and Database Administrators (DBAs) to ensure alignment between configuration, interfaces, and mappings.
- Enhance mapping documents by incorporating additional details and resolving deferred items as questions are resolved.
- Utilize SQL, data models, data element dictionaries, and schemas for data and business analysis purposes.
- Develop unit test cases for designated areas of responsibility.
- Validate test plan outcomes to ensure alignment with detailed design objectives.
- Update technical specifications and mappings as necessary.
- Support Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficient analytical and data analysis skills within a technical environment, preferably with SQL.
- Familiarity with healthcare processes within a claims processing setting, preferably in Medicaid.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Adherence to confidentiality standards and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Capability to establish and nurture positive and productive working relationships with colleagues, clients, members, providers, and customers.
Preferred skills:
- QNXT/Schema or Facets Experience.
- Data Mapping experience
- Healthcare/business knowledge in member, eligibility, TPL, claims processing, provider, pharmacy claims.
- Good Oral/Written communication skills.
- Good/Excellent SQL skills.
- Conversion/Interface/Reporting Experience.
