Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and release features within specified timelines and with a focus on high quality, aiming to enhance revenue and margin impact for top brands.
- Design features independently, considering system scalability and high availability.
- Collaborate with the team, conducting code reviews, leading design discussions, and providing mentorship to other developers.
- Take ownership of assigned features, collaborating directly with product teams to ensure customer impact.
- Participate in all stages of the software development cycle as a member of a Scrum team.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field from a reputable institution is preferred.
Preferred skills:
- The preferred candidate should have extensive experience as a Java developer, showcasing strong software system design, problem-solving, and object-oriented coding abilities.
- Experience with distributed transaction-processing systems or asynchronous messaging technology is mandatory.
- Demonstrated understanding of system performance trade-offs, load balancing, and engineering for high availability.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to building high-quality software and assuming end-to-end responsibility for developed features.
- Familiarity with enterprise information systems, service-oriented architectures, and operational data stores is advantageous.
