Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and evaluate the costs associated with network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks, voice, data, and video, for mergers, acquisitions, and new/existing site construction or expansion projects.
- Identify and assess the specific requirements of each site, such as bandwidth and network capabilities.
- Conduct research to identify new equipment based on site needs and equipment life cycle considerations outlined in the IT Roadmap.
- Collaborate with global network teams to ensure alignment with Micron standards and best practices in the design and implementation of local site networks.
- Provide operational support for all aspects of network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks, voice, data, and video systems across the Micron enterprise worldwide.
- Manage and uphold the integrity of the existing network environment.
- Monitor and promptly respond to alarms, alerts, and notifications regarding the network environment from the management system.
- Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 support, major incident responses, and post-incident reviews (postmortems).
- Deliver formal corporate communications regarding directional changes or modifications that may impact existing services.
- Maintain open communication channels with business units, providing regular updates on project statuses, and collaborating with peer groups such as enterprise architects, security teams, and server teams.
