Key Responsibilities:
- Create accurate mapping documents in accordance with established mapping procedures.
- Develop initial draft solutions for ETL/Reporting/Conversion tasks, swiftly identifying details that can be deferred for later resolution.
- Assist in the creation and response to Data Solution Design (DSD) requirements.
- Present analysis and design recommendations to lead MITA teams, customers, and/or vendors to gain acceptance of proposed designs.
- Provide support to ETL/Reporting/Conversion developers based on the mappings produced.
- Collaborate closely with the configuration team and Database Administrators (DBAs) to ensure alignment of configuration with interfaces and mappings.
- Enhance mapping documents by adding additional detail and addressing deferred material as questions are resolved.
- Utilize SQL, data models, data element dictionaries, and schemas to conduct data and business analysis.
- Develop unit test cases for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Verify test plan results to ensure alignment with detailed design objectives.
- Update technical specifications and mappings to reflect changes and improvements.
- Provide support for Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess analytical and data analysis skills, particularly within a technical environment, with a preference for proficiency in SQL.
- Demonstrate familiarity with healthcare practices, especially within a claims processing setting, ideally in Medicaid.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Uphold confidentiality standards and adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Capable of establishing and sustaining positive and productive work relationships with colleagues, clients, members, providers, and customers.
Preferred skills:
- Proficiency in QNXT/Schema understanding.
- Comprehensive healthcare and business comprehension encompassing member, eligibility, TPL, claims processing, provider, and pharmacy claims.
- Strong to excellent SQL proficiency.
- Effective oral and written communication aptitude.
- Demonstrated experience in data mapping.
- Proficient in conversion, interface, and reporting processes.
