Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve reported issues for a large web application, adhering to best practices such as updating unit tests, writing maintainable code, and applying established patterns and algorithms.
- Analyze and enhance the performance of the web application.
- Support security updates for the web application.
- Perform upgrades to third-party libraries and tools utilized by the web application.
- Contribute to the implementation of new features and products for the web application, following best practices such as unit testing, writing maintainable code, and applying established patterns and algorithms.
- Specialize in either client or server-side web application development as part of a project team, with a preference for familiarity with the entire technical stack.
- Assist in the development of software to support internal initiatives, tools, and updates to the framework and application functionality.
- Collaborate within an Agile SCRUM team for planning, scoping, estimation, and execution of technical solutions.
- Engage with a diverse range of new and legacy code and technologies within a mature codebase.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for computer science or information technologies, or is a recent graduate.
Preferred skills:
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn, the ideal candidate possesses a high level of motivation.
- Proficient in current web client technologies and has the capacity to quickly grasp HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, and React JS.
- Familiar with Java, Spring (IoC), and Python.
- Possesses a foundational understanding of SQL, with experience in Oracle considered a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a key asset.
- Capable of working with current software design principles and concepts, including patterns, algorithms, data structures, dependency injection, MV**, SOA, and n-tier architecture.
- Can manage a heavy workload involving multiple projects and frequent interruptions.
- Adaptability to thrive in a changing and dynamic environment.
