Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as a part of a global team, contributing to large-scale initiatives and ensuring operational excellence, with a focus on understanding availability, performance, and security.
- Develop platforms and frameworks suitable for hosting various services or automating processes on a significant scale.
- Assist customers in device management, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting issues related to Windows and Intune.
- Conduct in-depth issue analysis through log and data collection.
- Evaluate and contribute to product enhancements by conducting trend analysis in collaboration with Feature PMs (Product Managers).
- Collaborate closely with peer engineering teams to define and implement improvements in service monitoring and reporting, aiming to enhance availability, reliability, and capability.
- Tackle problems in mission-critical services and devise solutions to prevent problem recurrence, with the objective of automating responses to all non-exceptional service conditions.
- Provide operational support for day-to-day activities, encompassing the deployment of services and configuration tasks.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Should have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining after completing the internship.
- Demonstrated ability to understand operating systems, particularly Windows.
Preferred skills:
- Proficient in testing and troubleshooting.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of operating systems and Windows fundamentals.
- Demonstrated experience in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, etc., or proficiency in object-oriented languages such as C#, C++, or Java. Other relevant languages are also acceptable.
