Key Responsibilities:
- Receive detailed instructions to design and develop solutions and functionalities that support business growth.
- Assist in writing, developing, and testing code.
- Assist in executing automated testing activities to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Follow guidance from various stakeholders to support software deployment activities.
- Assist in delivering software components in collaboration with the product team.
- Support the integration and development of solutions through automation and coding using third-party software.
- Follow detailed instructions to design, develop, and debug large-scale distributed systems.
- Assist in writing, updating, and maintaining technical programs, end-user documentation, and operational procedures.
- Assist in refactoring code to improve performance, readability, and maintainability.
- Assist in reviewing code developed by other team members and provide relevant feedback.
- Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification is preferred.
- Relevant Agile certifications are preferred.
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of cloud architecture and services across public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Developing proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Node.js, along with relevant libraries and frameworks.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles, with strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Knowledge of microservices-based software architecture and experience in developing APIs.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Basic understanding of container runtimes and technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and LXC/LXD.
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean practices, along with an understanding of test-driven development principles.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, solve problems proactively, and maintain a can-do attitude.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams comprising individuals with different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and related tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Strong attention to detail.
Required Experience:
- Entry-level experience working with geographically distributed teams across innovation, bootstrapping, pilot, and production phases while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Entry-level experience using tools across the software development lifecycle, including IDEs, source control, CI, testing, mocking, work tracking, and defect management tools.
- Entry-level experience with Agile and Lean methodologies, Continuous Delivery, DevOps, analytics, and data-driven processes.
- Familiarity with working with large datasets and applying appropriate ML/AI algorithms.
- Entry-level experience in developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Entry-level experience in software development.
