Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accessibility evaluations of web applications using established testing methodologies and technical accessibility standards.
- Document accessibility findings clearly and provide actionable recommendations under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support accessibility remediation efforts by identifying and communicating technical accessibility issues.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle to support accessibility reviews.
- Contribute to building inclusive and accessible user experiences from the early stages of product development.
- Assist in developing and maintaining accessibility training materials, testing tools, and team standards.
- Continuously develop expertise in web accessibility standards, testing practices, and remediation techniques.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 0–2 years of experience in web accessibility and front-end engineering.
- Foundational knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.x guidelines and WAI-ARIA specifications.
- Experience testing web applications with assistive technologies such as VoiceOver, JAWS, or NVDA.
- Ability to identify accessibility issues and contribute to accessible code fixes using web technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Eagerness to independently learn new technologies and adopt web accessibility best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in building strong working relationships across teams.
- Ability to manage tasks across multiple workstreams with guidance and support from the team.
