Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare presentations on AWM’s financial performance, strategy, risk management, and product performance for the GS Board.
- Benchmark operating results against key industry competitors.
- Conduct marginal profitability analysis to support pricing decisions for new mandates.
- Prepare regular reports and analyze fully allocated profitability across business units.
- Develop P&L forecasts for the current and future years, including the firm-wide budgeting process.
- Conduct financial analysis of Growth Markets expansion initiatives.
- Develop and analyze compensation strategies.
- Track and analyze sales performance and productivity metrics.
- Actively manage AWM’s expense policy and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and proficiency in developing and managing complex models.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively present results and highlight broader commercial and strategic implications.
- Highly proactive approach with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and contribute to small project teams.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop professional networks across the division and other business areas.
- Ability to work effectively with large volumes of data and financial systems.
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment while managing and delivering multiple projects effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Postgraduate degree in Finance or Chartered Accountant qualification with 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge and practical exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx for creating workflows and data visualizations.
- A background in Computer Science or programming experience is an added advantage.
- Experience working with large datasets and technology, along with exposure to Asset Management, Management Consulting, or Investment Banking, is preferred.
