Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
- Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, smoke, and API testing.
- Support and maintain laboratory facilities and test infrastructure used by global engineering teams.
- Investigate, document, and track software defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
- Review and validate technical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Provide technical support and participate in project-related activities as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to improve software quality, testing effectiveness, and overall product reliability.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- Experience in manual and automated testing of software applications.
- Strong understanding of test planning, test case development, test execution, and defect management processes.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Katalon, or similar testing frameworks.
- Experience in REST API testing using Postman or comparable API testing tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, or equivalent languages for test automation.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and defect management tools, preferably Jira.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work in a global team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with industrial process instrumentation or automation products.
- Knowledge of Kali Linux and related software testing environments.
- Experience supporting software testing laboratories and hardware test setups.
- Exposure to Agile software development methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Demonstrated initiative in driving software quality improvements and enhancing testing processes.
