Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with equipment repairs, upgrades, decommissioning, deployments, cabling, and other data center infrastructure activities.
- Identify trends and patterns related to machine failures, report technical issues and bugs, and collaborate with remote teams to troubleshoot and resolve them. Communicate effectively with English-speaking clients and partners.
- Contribute to the deployment, maintenance, and ongoing support of existing and new data center infrastructure.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and resolve Linux operating system-related issues on servers, including critical or escalated technical challenges affecting a significant number of devices.
- Perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. (23 kg), as well as frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or higher education in Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with installing and configuring network or Linux systems.
- Must be authorized to work in India and willing to relocate to Mumbai or Delhi for the 12-week internship program.
Preferred Skills:
- Practical knowledge or experience with Linux and networking, including system installation, administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with hardware architecture, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, including network topologies and protocols.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technical skills, tools, and domains.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with others to identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
