Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications hosted on the AWS cloud platform.
- Support the management of cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability, and promptly escalate issues when necessary.
- Participate in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and application-related issues to ensure system reliability.
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to maintain business continuity.
- Assist in implementing cloud security best practices and managing user access through AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Contribute to automation and scripting activities using Python, Shell scripting, and AWS-native tools.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base repositories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful project delivery and ensure operational excellence.
- Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, cloud technologies, and industry best practices to support continuous improvement.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in B.E., B.Tech., MCA, BCA, or B.Sc. (Computer Science/Information Technology), or an equivalent qualification.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience.
Required Skills:
- Possess a basic understanding of AWS Cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Demonstrate knowledge of cloud computing fundamentals and networking concepts.
- Be familiar with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Have a basic understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Possess knowledge of system monitoring and troubleshooting concepts.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Possess an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or demonstrate a willingness to obtain the certification.
- Have exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, or Terraform, which will be considered an added advantage.
- Have internship or academic project experience in cloud technologies, which is preferred.
