Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and debug software applications and features under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Contribute to the development of networking software, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools while gaining a strong understanding of hardware and software interactions.
  • Assist in designing and implementing software enhancements for cloud-native products and distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver well-defined product features and software components with measurable business impact.
  • Apply foundational software engineering knowledge and innovative thinking to solve technical problems of moderate complexity.
  • Learn continuously through code reviews, technical mentorship, and collaborative team initiatives to improve software development skills.
  • Leverage large-scale automation technologies, including AI Agents and Copilots, to enhance software development efficiency and problem-solving.
  • Participate in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of reliable and scalable software products.
  • Gradually take ownership of larger software components and contribute to the continuous improvement of product functionality and performance as technical expertise grows.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.Tech/M.Tech) in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • 0–2 years of hands-on programming experience, including internships, co-op programs, or academic projects, using Python, Golang, Java, C, or C++.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of distributed systems, cloud-native software development, microservices architecture, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
  • Familiarity with virtual infrastructure management platforms such as KVM, OpenStack, Kubernetes, or VMware through academic coursework, projects, or internships.
  • Basic hands-on experience with infrastructure technologies such as Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Docker, Prometheus, or Grafana is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of software development best practices with a focus on testability, observability, and debuggability for cloud-based and on-premises solutions.
  • Willingness to learn the challenges of managing large-scale software and hardware environments and contribute to effective technical solutions.
  • Exposure to deployment and automation tools such as Ansible, Helm, or Terraform through academic, personal, or professional projects.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code, develop automated test cases, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and quality assurance.
  • Good understanding of developing and consuming RESTful or gRPC-based APIs.
  • Customer-focused mindset with an interest in building and automating UI/UX testing frameworks using modern automation and monitoring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn monitoring and observability technologies, including OpenTelemetry, Datadog, and SigNoz.
  • Ability to actively participate in technical design discussions, ask insightful questions, and learn from architectural decision-making processes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with peers and senior engineers while being receptive to feedback and mentorship.
  • Curiosity to continuously learn emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices while maintaining a collaborative and growth-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and AI agent frameworks such as LangChain and FastAPI through coursework or personal projects.
  • Exposure to AIOps and MLOps platforms and tools, including SageMaker, Databricks, Vertex AI, Azure ML, or MLflow.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native GitOps tools such as Argo CD and Argo Workflows.
  • Participation in hackathons, open-source projects, academic research, technical publications, or professional organizations such as IEEE is considered an advantage.
