Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data warehousing, business intelligence, and database solutions using technologies such as Snowflake, ANSI SQL, SQL Server, and T-SQL.
- Support software development activities using ETL and ELT tools, including dbt, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS.
- Design, develop, enhance, and support business intelligence solutions primarily using Microsoft Power BI.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements.
- Participate in software validation activities through the development, review, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Develop software applications by following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members regarding projects, development activities, tools, and processes.
- Provide end-user support, including application setup, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Internship experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
- Knowledge of dimensional data modeling, including the advantages and limitations of Star Schema and Snowflake schema designs.
- Strong understanding of ETL development and reporting based on business processes and performance measures.
- Familiarity with Snowflake cloud data warehouse, Fivetran data integration, and dbt transformations is preferred.
- Knowledge of Python programming is preferred.
- Understanding of REST API concepts and integration.
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server databases is required.
- Knowledge of C# and Azure development is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
