Key Responsibilities:
- Perform moderately complex financial analysis, both transactional and analytical in nature, for specific functions or business units.
- Analyze complex business issues and provide actionable financial insights to support key business initiatives and decision-making.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, evaluate relationships, and develop ratios used in forecasting and financial models.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s financial processes, operations, and overall business environment.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with business leaders to ensure the successful delivery of financial analysis objectives.
- Ensure compliance with reporting standards, corporate policies, and the integrity of both internal and external financial reporting.
- Collaborate with department leaders to prepare annual budgets and support long-term financial planning initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver regular as well as ad-hoc financial reports for management, executives, and key stakeholders.
- Develop conclusions and recommendations through research and data analysis, while contributing to knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work independently on moderately complex assignments, applying professional judgment and expertise to resolve issues in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience demonstrating relevant competencies.
- Typically 2–4 years of experience in financial management, accounting, internal audit, or a related field; advanced degree holders may be considered with limited or no prior work experience.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
- Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
- Understanding of auditing processes and compliance requirements.
- Experience with automation tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of corporate finance concepts and practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Understanding of economics and its business applications.
- Strong foundation in finance and financial management.
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to develop and maintain financial models.
- Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Familiarity with financial services and industry practices.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of internal controls and risk management practices.
- Familiarity with investment concepts and financial instruments.
- Experience tracking and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Understanding of Profit and Loss (P&L) management.
- Proficiency in SAP applications and financial systems.
- Experience conducting variance analysis.
